The DBF4XL can be used to effectively boost dryer exhaust in duct runs up to 130 feet.
This fan has a galvanized steel housing and integrated airflow sensing switch.

Fantech dryer booster fans are designed to eliminate the problems that can be caused by long duct work from your clothes dryer. Long stretches of duct work with multiple elbows can cause extended drying time as well as lint and moisture build-up within the dryer duct.
Originally dryers were designed to be located on an outer wall able to vented directly outside. Newer homes and condo are being designed so that the laundry is located on interior walls making it necessary to have extensive lengths of duct work to ventilate the dryer outside.

You will need a DBF4XL Fantech Dryer Booster System when the length of your dryer duct work exceeds: 25 feet with no bends
20 feet with one bend
15 feet with two bends
10 feet with three bends

• For maximum sensitivity, switch diaphragm must be mounted vertically.
• Fan must be mounted a minimum of 15 linear feet from the dryer in order to prevent the impeller from loading with we lint.
• Fan should be inspected periodically, depending on amoutn of usage and cleaned as necessary.
• Fan inlet and outlet are 3 7/8" diameter allowing direct installation into dryer vent duct.
• Motor bearings are a permanently sealed, self lubrication ball type.
• DBF110 fan is backed by Fantech's Five Year Warranty

FAN – Inline fan with galvanized steel housing and baked powder-
coat finish. Backward inclined blades of the motorized
impeller allow lint to pass through the fan.
PRESSURE SWITCH Fantech’s patented pressure switch automatically
activates the booster fan when dryer comes on.
Includes 18” of pre s s u re sensing tubing with mounting
grommet.
INDICATOR PANEL Wall-mount, low voltage indicator panel features
an LED light that indicates to the homeowner that the fan
is working properly. The indicator panel will alert homeowners
of problems such as no power, blocked duct, locked motor rotor
and low speed conditions. A 50 foot cable is included to connect
the indicator panel to the booster fan.
