Warranty & Return Policies Installation: We recommend and strongly encourage you to have the equipment or system that you purchase from HomeComfortDepot.com installed by a knowledgeable professional. Housh Inc. & HomeComfortDepot.com offer products that require professional installation. Housh Inc. & HomeComfortDepot.com recommend hiring an HVAC professional trained in the service and repair of HVAC/R equipment. Repair parts sold by Housh Inc. & HomeComfortDepot.com may require specialized tools and/or procedures for safe and reliable operation of the effected systems. Buyer(s) specifically holds Housh Inc. & HomeComfortDepot.com harmless for injury, property damage, or other losses associated with the use of items purchased from Housh Inc. & HomeComfortDepot.com. It is not the intention of Housh Inc. & HomeComfortDepot.com to encourage the servicing of HVAC/R appliances by untrained personnel, rather to "allow the public to purchase the necessary parts directly" for use by trained and/or licensed professionals. Regardless of who installs your equipment it must be charged and started by a licensed company or individual. All installations must conform to local codes, state codes and EPA regulations governing handling of refrigerant. Housh Inc. & HomeComfortDepot.com assume no liability associated with installation of your equipment. Warranty:All manufacturer's warranties apply based on brand and equipment. Certain equipment manufacturers clearly state that there is no warranty on their equipment unless it is installed by a licensed, training HVAC professional. Housh Inc. & HomeComfortDepot.com offer no labor or parts warranty, as we are not installing your equipment. Your local installing contractor should supply you a labor warranty. Your local installing contractor can replace any parts under warranty. Returned Products: We want you to be 100% satisfied with your shopping experience and your new products! If, however, the items you purchased are not exactly what you expected, you may return them within 30 days of purchase as long as the item has not been removed from the original packaging and installed. Once the item is removed from the original packaging and installed in your application, it cannot be returned. If you wish to return an item within 30 days of your purchase, you may do so and receive a refund according to the terms listed below, or a credit toward the purchase of another item. All returned merchandise must be unused in original condition and original packaging. There is no return credit for shipping charges. If you wish to return an item, please contact us by email at Support@HomeComfortDepot.com. Please provide us your first and last name, order number, a description of the item you wish to return and the reason for the return. If approved, you will receive an RMA number that must be written on the return shipping label. Return shipments should be directed to the following address:
Product Returns Department Please insure and track any returned packages. Credits will be issued when we receive and examine the returned items. Unauthorized returns or items returned used, damaged, or not in their original condition and packaging may result in a delayed credit, partial credit or refusal of the returned items as listed in the details below.
Important: All returns are carefully inspected upon receipt. If, though, the refund amount isn't acceptable to you, you have the option to pay a shipping charge and have the item sent back to you. If freight is being returned after it has been received by customer, customer will be responsible for any damage to freight at cost. If you are returning a product because we made an error in your order, we will promptly send you the correct item at no additional cost, and we will pay up to $10 for return shipping via Regular Ground with proof of shipping cost (receipt copy). Deliveries refused for reasons other than shipping damage will be handled the same as a return. Equipment returns including furnaces, air handlers, condensing units and heat pumps will be charged shipping fees to and from your location. For all other returns, original shipping fees (if any) are non-refundable. It is strongly recommended that you insure returned items. You are responsible for filing a shipping claim should a return item be lost or damaged in transit. We suggest using a "traceable carrier" that can provide you with tracking services and proof of delivery. Shipping Policy By purchasing air conditioning equipment from HomeComfortDepot.com you are acting as your own contractor and as such, will need to receive and inspect the equipment personally. Open all boxes on arrival to inspect for shipping damage. In the case of minor cosmetic damage; Note damage on the shipping invoice and ask for a damage claim. Since every equipment order that we ship includes basic shipping insurance, you have the option of filing a claim with the shipping company and receive payment for damages. YOU ARE NOT LIABLE TO SIGN FOR ANY DAMAGED FREIGHT FROM THE SHIPPER, HOWEVER ANY EQUIPMENT YOU SIGN FOR DOES BECOME YOUR PROPERTY. Any returns made after customer signs for order will be arranged at HomeComfortDepot.com Discretion. Signing for the shipment states that you are receiving the equipment in good order and it does become your property. PLEASE INSPECT YOUR EQUIPMENT CAREFULLY THIS MEANS REMOVING ALL BOX COVERS AND INSPECTING FOR ANY DAMAGE THAT MAY HAVE OCCURED DURING SHIPPING. Any Returns made after customer signs for equipment must be set up with HomeComfortDepot.com. A return authorization number must be obtained from HomeComfortDepot.com prior to return of any equipment as described above. If HomeComfortDepot.com arranges shipment, customer must use the bill of lading provided by HomeComfortDepot.com or the customer will be liable for any charges incurred as a result of setting up freight without consent of HomeComfortDepot.com We will work with our customers to insure they are happy with their equipment. EPA Regulations The entire content included in this site, including but not limited to text, graphics or code is copyrighted as a collective work under the United States and other copyright laws, and is the property of HomeComfortDepot.com.
